July

Just look at these in reverse order - I will try again next time :)

So July was busier than June and I can't believe it's already over. We ended up going to Tri-Cities for the 4th and had a BBQ with Brad's parents. I had a mom's night out with my moms club to an art studio - so I painted a very cute mug for myself. And now that I've cut out coffee, I'm not sure what I'll put in there...ice cream, maybe? The kids and I have been doing a lot of playdates and I've also been taking them to the local pool, which they love! We also went to the beach with Brad's parents (which is a totally separate post - too many pictures). We've had something to do almost every day this month, and I'm almost looking forward to school starting so that things will feel like they are slowing down. I'm trying to gear up for this month, and things are still looking pretty busy. I was talking to one mom today and we both agreed that when we look at the calendar - even though it's only the beginning of the month, it feels like the end since we are so busy. So again, enjoy the pictures and I will try to work on the beach post tomorrow.

We had a fire out in Cowiche, which is over the hill from us. This is what I got on my camera. Lost power to our house for about 15 minutes. 6000 acres were burned and we made the National news.

Some other people had the really big fireworks.

Are these two even related? Note the sarcasm.
Brad and his dad - they look *nothing* alike.

Getting a little hot - look at those cheeks!

June

These posted all wrong, yet again. Here is our pool day!

It's been so long since I've posted, I figured I'd just a run down month by month until I get all caught up. That way I can tell you what we did and post pictures as well. I got a new camera. So I've been having a lot of fun taking pictures with it and learning new things. I got a Canon Rebel T1i for those photography enthusiasts out there. I got it as a kit from Costco and it came with 2 lenses, a camera bag, and lots of gadgets :) I'm very happy with it, but I want an additional lens already.

Ok, so June. Josh finished up school. We were busy every single weekend in June. I feel like we've been busier since summer started than we were when Josh was in school. I've done a couple more activities through the MOMS Club. Brad and I had a date night, I went to lunch with 2 of my friends from middle school/high school. We had a BBQ that we went to, along with a birthday party. I had 3 Scentsy parties!!! And Josh did a preschool camp. Phew! We definitely had a busy month. Enjoy the pictures.

Going for a walk/ride up the street. And yes, it was THAT cold in June. Definitely needed jackets!

Josh posing with his new haircut at the Barber Shop. He loved it. He had to pull one ear to get the chair to move up and the other ear to move the chair back down (*wink, wink*). It was cute.

I'm still alive

Ok, so the last time I posted was back in May...um, what?!?

Well to catch you up, which is how this blog has gone for the past year now, always catching up. But anyways...to catch you up.

Let's see, May, May, May - I can't even remember what happened last week, so let me grab the calendar. Well May was filled with Birthday parties, having people over for dinner, and Memorial Day weekend. We had a camp out to go to, but didn't even end up staying one night. It was so cold and windy (probably 20 degrees cooler than usual), so we ended up just coming home. Not too much happened in May, even though it felt like we were busy.

Ok, so it won't let me post any pictures. It's taking forever, so maybe I will try again later.
